Twitter is used by most of the people all over the world for various purposes. Everyone will have a Twitter account, but only 50 percent of them will send a tweet on regular basis. Apart from this there are also few functions in Twitter that gets unnoticed due to various reasons. Most of these options may not be useful for everyone, but some of them can be really helpful.
1. Changing password- The most common option that is not used by the Twitter users is change password. This is a very common problem that can be seen as a major threat for the Twitter users. There are chances that your Twitter account can get hacked if you fail to use the change password option. Most of the people are really lazy to change their password and think their passwords are not easily guessable. But changing the Twitter password even if you are not a regular user can prevent it from falling into others hands.
2. Stop all app access- This is one of the best options to prevent your important information from getting hacked through the social media platform like Twitter. You can stop access to all your web applications that has been linked to Twitter account. To do this first go to the option Edit Profile and select Apps to see third-party apps linked to your account. There are few important apps that will be linked to your Twitter accounts, but make sure they don’t affect you in any way.
3. Twitter translation center- In translation homepage in Twitter, you can see top translators list. You can also become one of the non-paid translators for Twitter by visiting the translation homepage. But most of the people are not aware of this option as it can only earning you a badge in Twitter.
4. Background customization- It is one of the best ways to get connected with relevant people on Twitter. By changing the background of your Twitter page you will be able to attract similar people who are related to your background theme. You can also tweet the backgrounds in Twitter to get more attention from the followers and become more even. Tweets that are made without using any images are known to get less clicks when compared to tweets with images.
5. Widgets- There is widgets available in Twitter that are normally not recognized by the people. To use the widgets, first you must access Edit Profile and select Widgets option to configure it in the right way. Once you select the widget try to text it in real-time to get exposed in a great way.
6. Notifications- You will be receiving a number of notifications while handling client accounts and running multiple Twitter accounts. You can get disturbed with all such notifications while dealing with an important project, so you can just avoid this with few simple steps. Just go to the profile settings in Twitter and select the options available to regulate your notifications.
